Entrepreneur Health Series

Presented by

With the support of Power Corporation of Canada, Réseau Mentorat has prepared a series of 2 web conferences on the health of entrepreneurs.

Part 1 - Part 2

Part 1

Wellness: beyond taboos and unspoken words (in French)

While entrepreneurs must be kind to themselves, they should show kindness to their employees and loved ones. The Réseau Mentorat's 2020 Quebec Entrepreneurial Index indicated that some entrepreneurs are more at risk when it comes to their health: for example, younger generations, new entrepreneurs, women, people of immigrant background, self-employed workers, and those with smaller teams. What are the best practices to adopt, the questions to ask, and respectable limits when wanting to properly support these entrepreneurs in their quest for a better balance?

Here are some tools related to our discussion (in French):

Part 2

Mentors: allies for the well-being of entrepreneurs (in French)

Whether you’re a mentor or someone who cares about the well-being of their teams, do you ever have to deal with people who are going through difficult, even bewildering situations? It's impossible not to be concerned about their well-being. How do you deal with this emotional overload without taking on the role of a therapist? What’s your role as a mentor? What signals should you look out for and what questions can you ask? Worse, what happens when you’re the one going through turbulence? These are questions that Réseau Mentorat mentors frequently ask themselves.

In hindsight, our guest entrepreneurs will share stories about the most challenging moments in their careers: meteoric growth, fear of losing everything... You’ll leave with better reflexes, a list of questions to ask your mentees and more.
